Your Living Legacy can include photographs, stories, voice recordings, video, letters, documents, traditions, recipes, memories, reflections, relationships, life lessons, values, humor, meaningful objects, and other source materials that carry part of your story.
Submitted materials remain subject to applicable rights, permissions, privacy, and Content Standards.

Your memories of the people who shaped your life are part of your own story.
Photographs, recordings, correspondence, creative works, or other protected materials belonging to another person may require appropriate permission or rights authority. A dedicated Legacy Guruu developed around another person may require additional family, estate, rights-holder, provenance, or licensing review.
Yes, through authorized contribution pathways.
A Member may invite people who knew them to contribute stories, memories, photographs, recordings, or other meaningful perspectives.
Contributor material remains attributable to the person who contributed it where provenance matters, and contribution does not automatically provide access to the Member’s Private Legacy Content.
You remain central to decisions concerning your Living Legacy.
You choose what to preserve, what to leave out, what to correct, what permissions to grant, and how eligible materials may be shared through available Legacy Guruuz pathways.
Private Legacy Content does not become public simply because you provide it to Legacy Guruuz.
Privacy, permission, and Member control are built into the Legacy Guruuz experience. Private Legacy Content is used for authorized Legacy Guruuz purposes and remains governed by the Privacy Policy, Consent, and your applicable permissions. You decide what you preserve and who may have access according to the available controls.
No. Your Private Legacy Content is not authorized for training general-purpose artificial intelligence models for unrelated users without separate express authorization. Additional details are provided in the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Haliʻa is the Guiding Guruu at the heart of Legacy Guruuz, bringing warmth, curiosity, memory, and thoughtful presence to the stories that shape a life. She guides reflection and conversation within the materials and permissions associated with your Legacy.
A Legacy Guruu is a guided Legacy experience created from authorized stories, memories, recordings, and other materials preserved with appropriate permissions. It is not the biological, legal, conscious, or literal continuation of a person. Its purpose is to give future generations a way to encounter more of that person’s stories, values, perspective, and lived wisdom.
A Steward is a person you designate to carry defined Legacy responsibilities according to your instructions and the Stewardship & Continuity Agreement. A Steward’s authority is limited to the permissions and circumstances established for your Legacy and does not automatically replace legal estate or fiduciary authority.
Your Legacy can continue according to the instructions, permissions, and Stewardship arrangements you established. Any change in Steward authority or access remains subject to the Stewardship & Continuity Agreement, verification requirements, applicable rights, and law.
Submitted media may be reviewed for safety, rights, authenticity, security, or legal compliance before it becomes available for active Legacy Guruuz use. Review may involve automated tools and, where reasonably necessary, limited authorized human review.
Only with separate, specific authorization. Core Legacy Guruuz membership does not authorize a cloned voice, synthetic voice, biometric voice model, digital replica, or comparable modeled-identity capability. Any such feature requires separate consent appropriate to that use.
Legacy Guruuz Member accounts are currently intended for adults age 18 and older.
Family stories, photographs, and Legacy materials may naturally include children or minors when those materials are contributed by an authorized adult and handled according to applicable privacy, permission, and safety requirements.
The Founding 100 represents the first 100 qualifying Legacy Guruuz Founding Members.
Two current Founding choices are available: $250 once for Permanent Founding Membership, or Founding Monthly at $15/month for the first 12 months. Both begin with a personal Living Time Capsule, guided onboarding, Legacy-building participation, Member choices and personal Steward designation. Both Founding choices include a 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee. Before the Founding year ends, Monthly Members will receive notice of the Founding 100 rollover pricing structure then in effect and the steps required to continue.
Eligible future premium additions may be offered separately.
The core Permanent Founding Membership has no future monthly membership dues. Founding Monthly is $15/month for the first 12 months, followed by the Founding 100 rollover pricing structure then in effect, with notice before the Founding year ends.
Monthly Members may cancel at any time to stop future charges. Outside the 30-Day Guarantee, previously paid Monthly charges are non-refundable, and access may continue through the already-paid billing period. Continuation after the Founding year requires the applicable notice and Member authorization.
Optional premium services, specialized capabilities, products, or future additions may carry separate costs when offered.
Both Founding choices include a 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee. Permanent refunds cover the applicable $250 one-time payment; Monthly refunds cover membership charges actually paid during the eligible first 30 days when properly invoked within 30 days of initial enrollment.
A qualifying cancellation during that period results in the applicable enrollment refund and deletion of the Member’s Legacy Content and associated account materials according to the governing Terms and Privacy Policy.
Limited transaction, legal, accounting, tax, security, or deletion-verification records may remain where reasonably necessary or required.

Community Legacies brings the living Legacy experience into senior living communities, giving residents a way to preserve stories, voice, relationships, cultural heritage, and the meaning of their lives. Participation begins with each Member’s choices and permissions.
